Who is eligible to participate in the PG Tips Lucky Dips promotion?
Residents of the United Kingdom (excluding Channel Islands and ROI) who are aged 18 or over are eligible to participate.
What are the requirements for entry?
Entrants must have internet access, a smartphone, mobile number, an email address an 8-digit unique reference number to be found printed inside promotional packs. Purchase of a promotional PG Tips Lucky Dips pack is necessary to enter.
How do I enter?
To enter the promotion, you must purchase a promotional product featuring the promotional ‘Lucky Dips’ flash, scan the QR code or visit pgtipsluckydips.co.uk. Enter your full name, email address, mobile number, and the 8-digit URN printed on the inside of the pack. Select your preferred retailer (from the drop-down menu) and answer a few short questions to enter.

How will my personal data be handled?
The Promoter will collect and process certain personal information from entrants which, by taking part in the promotion, the entrants’ consent to. The Promoter will only use the personal data for the purposes of carrying out the promotion and, if your consent is obtained, to send you emails containing news and offers from Lipton and for no other purpose, unless the Promoter obtains your consent. However, personal data supplied during the course of the promotion may be passed on to third party supplier only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the promotion. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the terms and conditions and by participating in the Promotion all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions.
The Promotion opens at 00:00 on 1st February 2025 and closes at 23:59 on 31st May 2025 ("Promotional Period").
Internet access, purchase of the Promotional Products which are set out in paragraph 6, mobile number, a valid email address, 8-digit Unique Reference Number (URN) which is printed inside the Promotional Products and smartphone are required for entry.
The Promotion excludes employees of Lipton Teas & Infusions and their families, Lipton Teas & Infusions' subsidiary companies, Lipton Teas & Infusions' agencies and anyone professionally connected with this Promotion ("Excluded Persons").
A qualifying entrant must: (i) be 18 or over; (ii) be a resident of United Kingdom (excluding Channel Islands and ROI); (iii) have a unique combination of name, URN, mobile number and email address; and (iv) not be an Excluded Person. The Promotion is limited to one entry per entrant per day and four per entrant in total. Entrants are advised to take care when entering their details as once an entry is submitted, the entrant's details cannot be changed. The Promoter is not responsible for typographical errors by an entrant. There are 20,600 prizes available to be won in total across the Promotional Period consisting of:
Level 1 prize: 1 of 100 x £1,000 cash payment ("Level 1 Cash Prize")
Level 2 prize: 1 of 500 x £72 worth of digital eVouchers to be used to purchase any PG Tips product: 1 x £6 eVoucher per month for 12 months.
Level 3 prize: 1 of 10,000 x £6 digital eVoucher to be used to purchase the any PG Tips product
Level 4 prize: 1 of 10,000 x £1 digital eVoucher for £1 off your next purchase of any PG Tips product
(each of 7b, 7c and 7d being "Instant Win eVouchers", each an "Instant Win eVoucher" and Level 1 Cash Prize and Instant Win Vouchers, together being "Instant Win Prizes" and each an "Instant Win Prize")
Instant Win Prize winners will be allocated by pre-determined time periods ( "Open Winning Moments", each an "Open Winning Moment"), which have been securely selected by a computer-generated algorithm and will be randomly seeded throughout the Promotional Period. Entries received on or after one of the Open Winning Moments will win an Instant Win prize. Instant Win prizes are allocated in the order determined by the Open Winning Moments and roll over, so if no one makes a Valid Entry on or after an Open Winning Moment and another Open Winning Moment passes before the next Valid Entry, the available Instant Win prize for the first Open Winning Moment will be won.
E.g. If an Open Winning Moment is set for 23:59 one day, a Valid Entry submitted on 00:01 the next day will capture that Open Winning Moment and win an Instant Win prize. If there are no entries received within a given period between two or more Open Winning Moments, the first unawarded Instant Win Prize will be rolled forward and awarded to the next Valid Entry.
Entrants will be notified immediately on screen whether or not they have won an Instant Win Prize. If they have won an Instant Win Prize, they will be informed of which Instant Win Prize they have won.
Level 1 Cash prize winners will receive an SMS message within 7 days of online win notification to confirm their win and provide a unique link to claim their Level 1 Cash Prize. Winners will have 14 days from their SMS win notification to click on the claim link to claim their Level 1 Cash Prize, providing their full name and bank details, which will consist of their sort-code and account number. Winners that do not respond to the winners’ SMS notification within 14 days from their SMS win notification will forfeit their prize.
Winners of an Instant Win eVoucher will receive an SMS within 24 hours of online win notification and which Instant Win eVoucher they have won, along with a unique link to activate their eVoucher on their smartphone which can only be used to redeem once.
Each Instant Win eVoucher may be subject to its own terms and conditions and in order to redeem the prize entrants agree to be bound by them.
Electronic bank transfer payments will be processed within 28 days of Level 1 Cash Prize claim verification. Payments will only be made payable to the person whose name appears on the online claim form and to the bank details provided there. Please ensure your name is typed correctly and matches the name of the account holder. It is the responsibility of the Level 1 Cash Prize winner to provide correct, up-to-date details when participating. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects fulfilment of their Level 1 Cash Prize. Electronic bank payment will be administered by Umbrella.
Level 1 Cash Prizes are awarded via electronic bank transfer only. No other methods of payment are available.
The Promotion is limited to one entry per person per day (up to 4 entries per person in total).
Level 2 Instant Win eVouchers are valid from date of activation until 31/05/26. Level 3 & 4 Instant Win eVouchers are valid from date of activation until 07/07/26. Store redemptions are accepted in Asda, Morrisons (excluding Morrisons Daily), Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose ("Participating Stores"). Instant Win eVouchers cannot be redeemed in petrol stations, online or Morrisons Daily. Once the Instant Win eVoucher link has been clicked it will re-direct winners to an activation page to confirm they’re in a Participating Store at the till point and ready to activate the Instant Win eVoucher. Upon activation the winner will have 20 minutes to use their Instant Win eVoucher at the Participating Store. If the Instant Win eVoucher is not redeemed within this timeframe it will be forfeited.
It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure that they have accurately provided a valid mobile number to ensure they are in receipt of promotional communication. The Promoter will not be liable for non-delivery of a prize caused by the provision of wrong information or other causes beyond the Promoter’s control. Entrants must ensure that they are connected to the internet before accessing the text link as the Instant Win eVoucher will automatically appear once activated and the winner will have 20 minutes to redeem their Instant Win eVoucher.
Although all Instant Win Prizes are available to be won, there is no guarantee that they will all be claimed. In the event that the site is experiencing heightened suspicious activity, additional verification measures will be introduced. This may include introducing SMS one-time code and other measures.

Prize Draw prizes consist of 1 x cash prize of £1,000, and any unclaimed Level 1 Cash Prize(s) ("Draw Cash Prize(s)"). The Prize Draw takes place on 16th June 2025 ("Draw Date").
Draw Cash Prize winner(s) will be drawn from all losing Valid Entries from the Promotion Period. Draw Cash Prize winner(s) will be electronically drawn at random by an independently verified random computer draw process from all losing Valid Entries on the Draw Date. An appropriate number of reserves will be drawn at the same time. A maximum of one set of Draw Cash Prize reserve winners will be contacted.

All entries must be made by the entrants themselves. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries, entries made by macros or other automated means (including systems which can be programmed to enter) and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these terms and conditions in full will be disqualified and will not be counted. If it becomes apparent that an entrant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of 'script', 'brute force', masking their identity by manipulating phone numbers or IP addresses, using identities other than their own or any other automated means in order to increase that entrant's entries into the Promotion in a way that is not consistent with the spirit of the Promotion, that entrant's entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void. Prizes allocated to winners who are subsequently disqualified may not be reallocated.
The Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize for an equivalent or greater value should the original prize offered become unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control.
Level 1 Cash Prize winners may be asked to participate in reasonable publicity arising from the Promotion with no further compensation.
A list of the Level 1 Cash Prize winners’ and Prize Draw Winners' surnames and counties will be available to those who send a correctly stamped self-addressed envelope to PG TIPS 2025 (8349), PO Box 906, Chilton, Aylesbury HP22 9HR within three months of the Draw Date. A Level 1 Cash Prize winner and/or a Prize Draw winner may object to their information being made available in this way or may request that the amount of information made available be reduced, by contacting Umbrella via email at hello@pgtipsluckydips.co.uk. In these circumstances the winner acknowledges that Umbrella may (including upon the Promoter's Instructions), disclose such information in full upon request from competent authorities (including without limitation the Advertising Standards Authority).
In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, or reasonable belief to suspect collusion to subvert the terms of this Promotion, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this Promotion, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Promotion or these terms and conditions, at any stage.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entries to protect itself against fraudulent, invalid or repetitive entries including but not limited to asking for address and identity details (which they must provide within 14 days) and to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the Promotion and disqualify the entrants where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotion’s entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the Promotion or won using fraudulent means.
The Promoter does not accept responsibility for entries lost, damaged or delayed or as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
The Promoter will not be liable for any delay or failure to comply with its obligations for reasons beyond its reasonable control arising from but not limited to Acts of God, global or regional epidemic or pandemic, adverse weather conditions, fire, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, plague or other natural calamities, or any other circumstances of the Promoter.

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
We will not keep your personal data longer than necessary to meet the purposes for which it was gathered. Once this purpose has been fulfilled, we will either securely remove your personal data from our systems or anonymise it, that is, we will remove those aspects of your personal data that link it to you so that you can no longer be identified. For example, we might anonymise data that you have shared with us to participate in a sales promotion or discount offering on one of our products after 1 year, while we delete data shared as part of a question or a request you have sent us after 2 years.
For personal data processed for competitions and promotions, we retain this data for 6 months from the expiry date of the promotion and after such period it is subsequently archived and ultimately deleted 18 months from the expiry date of the promotion.
Please note that in some cases we may have legal obligations to keep your data for some time after the initial purpose for collection has been met. For example, where we must keep your data for accounting, litigation, or regulatory reasons.
WHO DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITH?
We may disclose your personal data to certain third-parties, vendors and service providers or affiliated employees, contractors and entities as described below.

PROFILING
Where we have a lawful basis to do so, we will also use your personal data to build profiles. We create profiles by analysing information about your online activity, including how you browse and interact with our websites and third party websites, your interactions with our brand communications, and your searching and buying behaviour. We use these profiles to personalise our website content displayed to you as well as our communications with you. Profiling allows us, for instance, to show you more information and products that we believe you would be interested in during your visits to our websites.
WHERE WE STORE/TRANSFER YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Depending on your location and the services you use, we may transfer your personal data to entities within the Lipton Teas and Infusions group or to third parties based outside of the Economic European Area (“EEA”). If you are based in the EEA, we are required by law to ensure that your personal data enjoys a level of protection essentially equivalent to that within the EEA.
Transfers to countries with an EU Data Adequacy Decision
Some of the countries we may transfer personal data to have been recognised by the European Commission as offering an adequate level of protection to personal data (“Adequacy Decision”). You can find the complete list of Adequacy Decisions taken by the European Commission here. Consequently, personal data can flow from the EEA to that third country without any further safeguard being necessary.
Transfer to non-adequate non-EEA countries
We may also transfer data from the EEA to countries that do not have an Adequacy Decision. In those cases we will only transfer personal data where we have added safeguards to our contracts with the receiving entities, so called EU Standard Data Protection Clauses, in order to ensure that your personal data is afforded the same level of protection as it is in the EEA.
SECURITY OF PERSONAL DATA
To protect your personal data from unauthorised access, disclosure or loss, we have put appropriate technical and organisational measures in place. These include encrypting connections and equipment, creating back-ups, and limiting and controlling those who can access the data.
YOUR RIGHTS
You have rights relating to your personal data. You can exercise these rights (as explained below) by sending an email with your contact details and your request to privacy@lipton.com.
We will handle your request carefully and respond to you without undue delay and at the latest within one month after receiving your request, unless there is a lawful reason to extend this period in which case we will let you know as soon as possible.
Please note that the extent to which you can exercise your rights may be limited by the rights and interests of other parties. For example, we may not be able to delete all of your personal data upon request where we have to keep it for regulatory reasons. If we are unable to exercise your request then we will let you know and explain why without undue delay.
You can ask us whether we process your personal data and, if so, request a copy of that personal data.
You can request that we correct any personal data that we process about you that is inaccurate or incomplete.
You can request that we limit or stop the processing of your personal data in some circumstances, such as when you contest the accuracy of the personal data.
